Chargers News: Justin Herbert Lightens Mood with Update on Injured Finger

LA's QB1 is one funny guy

The Los Angeles Chargers captured their second win of the seaosn with a thriller at home against the Las Vegas Raiders, 24-17.

The Bolts progress to 2-2 thanks in large part to their defense and their star QB Justin Herbert. He was spectacular as always, and luckily, he dodged a bullet with a finger injury he suffered late in the third quarter during an interception return.

The 25-year-old didn't miss a series after going in the blue tent and played with a glove on his left hand for the remainder of the game. After the game, Herbert spoke to the media and provided a witty and funny response about his injured finger.

It's great to see the star QB in good spirits after the win and avoiding a possible big-time injury. Herbert wasn't quite the same after the injury but still managed to throw for 167 yards while going 13-for-24 on his passes and threw for one touchdown and one interception.

Hopefully, this doesn't affect him down the road, but if it does, at least the team has their bye week this upcoming week.

It gives him time to heal that finger and have him back out there Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6.
