The Indianapolis Colts made three waiver claims on Wednesday, including offensive linemen Josh Sills (from Philadelphia Eagles) and Ryan Hayes (from Miami Dolphins), and linebacker/edge defender Isaiah Land (from Dallas Cowboys).

This comes a day after all 32 teams had to get their rosters cut down to 53 players, creating a plume of available players across the league.

Sills (6'6", 325, 25 years old) enters his second season after being signed by Philadelphia as an undrafted rookie out of Oklahoma State last spring. He saw 103 snaps on offense last preseason; 63 at left guard and 40 at left tackle, and just 4 totl on special teams last regular season. Sills was recently acquitted of rape and kidnapping charges stemming from his time in college.

Hayes (6'6", 305, 23) was a seventh-round pick (No. 238) by the Dolphins out of Michigan this year who saw 44 snaps in the preseason; 40 at left tackle and 4 at left guard.

The Colts are quite thin in their offensive line depth following the season-ending injury to Danny Pinter. Sills and Hayes will help provide backup alongside Arlington Hambright, Wesley French, Carter O'Donnell, and Blake Freeland.

Land (6'3", 225, 23) was an undrafted rookie with Dallas out of Florida A&M by way of the USFL. He played 68 snaps this preseason and put up a solid grade of 78.8, per Pro Football Focus. In those snaps, he registered 10 pressures (7 quarterback hurries, 2 hits, 1 sack) and a forced fumble.

Land aids a Colts edge group featuring just four players in Kwity Paye, Samson Ebukam, Dayo Odeyingbo, and Tyquan Lewis. Land could also feasibly contribute at OTTO linebacker for the Colts behind E.J. Speed. Land also played 25 snaps on special teams this preseason.
