BREAKING: Commanders 'Fire' Eric Bieniemy After Kliff Kingsbury Hire

Eric Bieniemy won't be with the Washington Commanders in 2024.

The Washington Commanders will have a new coordinator in 2024 with Kliff Kingsbury running the offense, which means it's time to say goodbye to Eric Bieniemy.

New coach Dan Quinn confirmed in his press conference Monday that Bieniemy would not return to the Commanders.

Washington has now made the necessary moves it wanted to make as Adam Peters (new general manager) and Quinn can now begin working together

Under Bieniemy last season, Washington had the 25th-ranked offense (19.4 points per game), and was 15th for passing yards (245), 27th for rushing yards (93.6), and 25th for points (329).

That didn't bode well for Bieniemy, but the Commanders were going through a host of changes last season and had Sam Howell, who prior to Week 1, had just a single regular-season start to his name.

Given Washington's draft hand, a quarterback is likely to be taken. Whether that be Drake Maye or Jayden Daniels, the Commanders have a couple of ways to go.

Now that Quinn and Kingsbury are in place, the Commanders will now round out their staff and look towards the draft to find their next quarterback.
