Commanders Sign Jamison Crowder in Free Agency
The Washington Commanders are bringing back one of their veteran receivers and special teams contributors.
According to CBS Sports reporter Josina Anderson, the Commanders have signed veteran wideout Jamison Crowder to a new deal.
Crowder, 30, played in all 17 games for the Commanders this season returning kickoffs. He also caught 16 passes for 159 yards and a touchdown.
He was drafted by Washington in the fourth round of the 2015 NFL Draft and played his first four seasons in the league with the team.
Crowder's best season with the Commanders came in 2016, when he caught 67 passes for 847 yards and seven touchdowns.

Since then, he's bounced around the league playing for the New York Jets (2019-21) and Buffalo Bills (2022).
Last year, he signed with the NFC East rival New York Giants, but was part of the team's final roster cuts to shrink to its 53-man roster.
Now, Crowder has found new life for his career by joining the Commanders last season as a special teams contributor and occasional receiver.
He will be one of the people in the running for the kick return job when training camp begins this summer.
