NFL Top 100: Where Does Commanders WR Terry McLaurin Rank?

Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has become one of the NFL's best at his position.

Despite how inconsistent the Washington Commanders' quarterback play has been for the last four years, wide receiver Terry McLaurin has always produced.

McLaurin's play throughout his four-year career with 11 different quarterbacks led to him being ranked No. 68 in CBS Sports' top 100 players heading into the 2023 season.

"Can you imagine how good his numbers would be if he played with good quarterbacks the past four seasons? All he does is produce for an offense that has been greatly limited by its quarterback play," CBS Sports writes.

Defensive back Kamren Curl was the only other player on Washington to make the list and was ranked No. 85 on CBS Sports' list.

McLaurin ranked 12th among wide receivers in CBS Sports' rankings. He was third among NFC East wide receivers and was only behind CeeDee Lamb and A.J. Brown.

McLaurin has had over 1,000 yards in three straight seasons and led Washington in receiving yards in each of his four years with the team. McLaurin also led the Commanders in receiving touchdowns in two of his four seasons.

The fourth-year receiver had a career-high 1,191 yards in 2022. McLaurin caught a career-best seven touchdowns as a rookie in 2019 and a career-high 87 receptions in 2020.

Washington will have another new starting quarterback in 2023, with all signs pointing toward it being Sam Howell. No receiver has had to play for more quarterbacks in the last four years than McLaurin. If Howell can be consistent for Washington, McLaurin may be poised to have the best season of his career in 2023.
