FRISCO - Randy Gregory, most noted for his up-and-down times as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, is on the road again.

Oct 3, 2021; Arlington, Texas, USA; Dallas Cowboys defensive end Randy Gregory (94) celebrates

The Dallas Cowboys made Gregory a second-round selection out of Nebraska in 2015, knowing that he would enter the NFL with behavioral baggage. A series of suspensions kept him from great success, but in 2022 he spurned a Dallas big-money offer to instead sign with Denver for a similar $70 million contract. Success was also hard to find with the Broncos, however, and last year he was trade-dumped to the 49ers.

He registered 20 tackles, six tackles for loss, 10 quarterback hits, 3.5 sacks, and a pass defensed through 16 appearances with the 49ers and the Broncos last season.

Gregory, now 31, has 22 sacks in 72 game appearances throughout an NFL career that spans nine years.
