Dallas Cowboys’ Dak Prescott & Pregnant Girlfriend Victims of Disgusting FOX Sports Rant: ‘Gold-Digger Distraction!’ Screams Shock Jock Craig Carton

ARLINGTON - How low can the disgusting takes of the Skip Bayless-led “Embrace Debate” crew at FOX Sports go?

As it relates to the latest seedy and irresponsible attack launched by the network … lower than any Dallas Cowboys fan or any consumer of sports media could’ve ever imagined.

Craig Carton, obviously trying to follow in the fraudulent and feces-caked footsteps of colleague Bayless, this week launched a vitriolic attack on Dallas quarterback Dak Prescott and his girlfriend, Sarah Jane Ramos.

The lovely couple’s crime? They are expectant parents of a baby daughter.

Said Prescott this week while preparing to lead his 8-3 Cowboys into a “Thursday Night Football” showdown with the visiting Seattle Seahawks: “It’s super-exciting. I wanted a little girl. Everybody knows what my mom means to me so to be able to raise a little girl, I’m thankful.”

Carton, known in New York for his outrageousness (and also for being an ex-con, having just a few years ago done time for securities and wire fraud (and sentenced to three and a half years in prison) claims to see it differently.

"That's a mistake," Carton ranted. "There goes the Cowboys season... this is a terrible distraction now for Dak Prescott. He's not married, right? So now I got to question, ‘Is she a gold-digger?"

“Mistake”? “Distraction”? “Gold-digger”? None of this qualifies as fair game as discussion items among responsible, thinking, caring adults.

But Bayless has gotten away with suggesting Prescott is “too weak to lead” because the QB has talked openly about his challenges in the wake of his mother’s death and his brother’s suicide. And infamously, Bayless built his career with similar contrarian “hot takes,” including questioning the sexual orientation of Troy Aikman and questioning the faith of Tom Landry.

And given that foundation? Why wouldn’t Craig Carton, struggling to maintain a media career, follow that path - assuming, of course, that like Bayless he has no pride, no ethics and no soul.
