The Sports Illustrated Fan Nation beat writers have assembled to put together a 2023 NFL Mock Draft ... meaning a multitude of brain power from each NFL city ... and some of the results may surprise you, dear reader ...
Especially if you assume the Cowboys are locked in to selecting an offensive player at No. 6 in the first round.
For this exercise, one beat writer from each NFL team made the selection for the team they cover in real-time, in the actual draft order. While we all know that the NFL Draft will be littered with trades, we did not utilize trades for this experiment.

Analysis: Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn loves versatile athletes up front, and Adebawore, who ran a 4.49 40-yard dash at 282 pounds, certainly checks both boxes.
