Eagles' Howie Roseman Ranked Top GM; Where's Cowboys' Jerry Jones?

Look away Cowboys fans ... The longtime Philadelphia Eagles front office member is also the league's reigning executive of the year.

FRISCO - The Dallas Cowboys lost out to the hated Philadelphia Eagles in last year's NFC East title race.

And now, in the front office, they are withstanding another blow from Philly.

The résumé that lands Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman atop the GM rankings released by NFL Media is difficult to argue against.

And where's Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones?

Well ...

He could barely even crack the top 10, let alone the top five. He comes in at No. 10 in these rankings.

As Jones watches his longtime NFC East rivals make it to Super Bowls and win big playoff games thanks to Roseman's work, the Cowboys are still looking to make their first appearance in a NFC Championship game since the 1995 season, the last time Dallas won the Super Bowl.

Since then, the Eagles have made it to three Super Bowls (winning one) and seven NFC title games. Roseman began with the team as an intern in 2000 before becoming Philly's GM in 2010.

And yet, he and the Eagles have accomplished loads more than Jerry and the 'Boys have just since 2010.

Really, No. 10 isn't bad for Jerry and company. The pain to the Cowboys comes in who's No. 1.
