WATCH: Cowboys Rookie Scores First Career TD

Both Dallas Cowboys tight ends, Jake Ferguson and Luke Schoonmaker, have scored touchdowns against the New York Jets.

Tight end touchdowns keep coming for the Dallas Cowboys as they lead the New York Jets 18-10 at halftime in this Week 2 matchup.

After Jake Ferguson kicked off the scoring for the Cowboys as Dak Prescott found the second-year man out of Wisconsin on a four-yard touchdown, he'd come back a few drives later, right before halftime, and connected with the rookie Luke Schoonmaker.

After the Cowboys jumped out to a quick 10-0 lead, the Jets offense finally found some momentum as quarterback Zach Wilson hit his dynamic receiver Garrett Wilson on a slant, which he took 68 yards for a score as he beat Stephon Gilmore in coverage, and even broke the tackle of middle safety Malik Hooker.

With their lead trimmed to just three points, Prescott and co. took the field and engineered a methodical 13-play 75-yard drive capped off by the one-yard touchdown pass to Schoonmaker for his first-career touchdown.

The Cowboys opted to go for two, which they converted thanks to a Tony Pollard run, giving the Cowboys an 18-7 lead. Before Wilson and the Jets offense managed to get a field goal before the half.

The touchdown pass to Schoonmaker continued a hot start for Prescott and the Cowboys offense, which has totaled 221 yards in the first half.
