FRISCO - If the two players involved in this highly nasty business are telling anything close to the truth, the Philadelphia Eagles and the San Francisco 49ers just took "trash-talking'' to a new look.

Eagles rookie Jalen Carter is being accused by 49ers guard Jonathan Feliciano of "threatening to murder me and my kids'' as part of an in-game exchange that has gone public because of Feliciano's foolish remarks after the Super Bowl.

Feliciano blamed teammate Spencer Burford for missing a key block in Sunday's Super Bowl, a 49ers' OT loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, later apologizing on social media by writing, “Im sorry bro. I woke up hungover and being a b****. In trying to have ones back I hurt u. “It’s f***** up and I apologize. You got nothing but greatness ahead of you. I’m sorry bro.”

Inexplicably, the Eagles' defensive lineman Carter involved himself by pointing out that Feliciano is the "same dude who spoke on my dead teammate and the reason I was emotional during out game smh.''

That's a reference to Carter's involvement in a street race while in college in which his Georgia teammate Devin Willock, as well as team staffer Chandler LeCroy, were killed. ... nasty business that got nastier when Feliciano then accused Carter of threatening murder.

The way Feliciano tells it, he did indeed make fun of Carter, at which time Carter (per Feliciano's tweet) “told me he was gonna murder me, and my kids would never see me again 3x because I was laughing at him after getting a flag … I said I believe you - you got a (dead) body.''
