A minor defensive tackle that will play every rep with ruthless effort.
Evaluation:
Undersized but athletic build for a defensive tackle. Primarily a three-technique on run downs. One gap penetrator that can win off the snap and disrupt backs behind the line of scrimmage. Heavy hands that can move linemen. Bulldozes the pocket with a bull rush. Can’t really two gap or hold up against double teams. High effort that is applauded but leads to more of his plays in the passing game rather than traits or technique. Orhorhoro is a strong player who can cause some havoc amongst the offensive line. Devoid of any high-level traits, his projection as an NFL player is limited due to his size and skill set, but he could be suitable as a late-day 3 or UDFA player.

Background:
Ruke Orhorhoro was born in Nigeria and immigrated to the United States at age nine. His athletic background started in basketball but transitioned to football as a junior at River Rouge High School in Michigan. As a senior, Orhorhoro had 13 sacks, 22 tackles for loss, and 60 tackles before becoming the first Clemson football signee from Michigan since 1975. Orhorhoro has several cousins who play or played collegiate football, including Michael Ojemudia at Iowa, Mario Ojemudia at Michigan, and Ovie Oghoufo at Notre Dame. In 10 games played in 2019, the sociology major had four total tackles and 0.5 sack. 2021 was Orhorhoro's best year as he registered 36 total tackles, three pass breakups, 2.5 sacks, and 8 tackles for loss in 13 games played. He earned fourth-team all-conference by Phil Steele in 2021, a Third-team All-ACC selection by Pro Football Focus and a Reese’s Senior Bowl Invitation in 2022.
