Eagles Reveal Game Dates for Kelly Green Throwback Jerseys

"You look good, you feel good, you play better," said Philadelphia Eagles running back D'Andre Swift.

The Philadelphia Eagles have finally given fans the official reveal of the long-awaited kelly green throwback jerseys, but we now know when these jerseys will officially be worn this season.

The Eagles will be sporting the throwbacks for a pair of home games this season, with one of these instances coming in prime time but both coming against AFC East opponents. Philly will wear its kelly green threads in Week 7 on Sunday, Oct. 22 against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday Night Football and in Week 12 on Sunday, Nov. 26 against the Buffalo Bills.

Both Miami and Buffalo are forces to be reckoned with in the strong AFC, as both squads are coming off of playoff appearances last season.

If the Eagles are able to capture convincing wins in both of those games, than maybe Philly defensive end Josh Sweat will get his wish of making the throwbacks permanent.

"The Kelly Green, they need to be like our permanent," he said. "You know, we can just wear the black as the alternate, but the Kelly Green needs to be the main."

A win might even be more likely with the kelly greens on, at least in the eyes of Eagles running back D'Andre Swift.

"They look nice. I see they revealed them," Swift said. "So it's like the fans see it, the players see it. I mean, you look good, you feel good, you play better. That type of thing."

The Eagles kickoff this season on Sunday, Sept. 10 against the New England Patriots in Foxboro.
