Eagles Should Draft 'Complete Package' Texas RB Bijan Robinson

Bijan Robinson could be a top Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate. Would the Philadelphia Eagles draft him at No. 10?

The Philadelphia Eagles' running back room is set to look different next season after the departure of leading rusher Miles Sanders.

With Sanders signing a deal to join the Carolina Panthers in free agency, the Eagles need to find someone to shoulder his load.

Bleacher Report believes that player may be Texas Longhorns running back Bijan Robinson, who could be available when the Eagles are on the clock in this month's draft with the No. 10 pick.

"There isn't anything that Robinson doesn't do at an elite level," Bleacher Report writes. "He will run through defenders as easily as he races past them. He's a threat catching the ball out of the backfield. He truly is the complete package."

Taking a running back with the No. 10 overall selection could be a risk, especially for a team that lost multiple defensive starters, including linebacker T.J. Edwards, defensive tackle Javon Hargrave and defensive back C.J. Gardner-Johnson, but bringing Robinson to Philadelphia to team up with quarterback Jalen Hurts could be a recipe for a Super Bowl return for the Eagles.

"Robinson checks just about every box for an elite running back prospect," Bleacher Report writes. "He should step in right away and be able to carry the workload for a rushing offense, as well as contribute in the passing game. Robinson has the potential to be a multi-time Pro Bowler and one of the better backs in the NFL."

Should Robinson not end up with the Eagles, Philadelphia could look to address the position later in the draft or roll with its current backfield, led by former Seattle Seahawks first-round pick Rashaad Penny, Kenneth Gainwell and utility man Boston Scott.
