Falcons Have Sights Set on Super Bowl: 'Everybody's Hyped!'

Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London spoke on Good Morning Football on his leadership, the team's incoming rookies, but most importantly, postseason aspirations.

Winning consistently in the NFL is nearly impossible.

From coaching changes, to injuries, there's a reason the league hasn't seen back-to-back Super Bowl champions since the New England Patriots in 2004-2005.

And for Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Drake London, the aspiration is not only reach the postseason this year - something the franchise hasn't done since 2017 - but also reach the league's biggest stage.

"Our mentality and our goal is to just keep playing through the postseason and make it to 'The Big One,'" London said on "Good Morning Football". "Everybody's juiced, everybody's hyped to get to work and I think we're all on the same path right now."

Despite coming off back-to-back 7-10 campaigns, the confidence to contend in the NFC has shone through the Falcons locker room all offseason - with quarterback Desmond Ridder saying that the No. 1 goal is to win the division.

And credit goes to Atlanta's ability to be aggressive in free agency. By signing players with playoff experience such as Calais Campbell and Jessie Bates III, this nucleus of first and second-year players can learn what it takes to succeed.

"[Campbell's] at the point in his career (where) you want to go to a team that's going to win," defensive tackle Grady Jarrett said. "He came for a reason; he believes in the team, and that means a lot to me and to the other guys, as well."

With Campbell even going on a limb and saying Atlanta can win 13 games this year, there is no shortage of confidence throughout the roster. Now, the team just has to go put their words into wins.
