'Any Given Sunday': Falcons RB Bijan Robinson on NFL's Worst Team

Atlanta Falcons running back Bijan Robinson spoke on Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill's “It Needed to Be Said” podcast on who the NFL's worst team is.

Atlanta Falcons rookie running back Bijan Robinson hasn't played an NFL down just yet. But as a guest star on Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill's “It Needed to Be Said” podcast, the 2023 first-round pick was asked who he believes the league's worst team is.

"I don't think there is no tragic team in the league, because everybody in the league is good," Robinson said. "You made it to the NFL to be good, so that's all I'm gonna say on that.

"They say any given Sunday. Anything can happen on any given Sunday."

Over his three years at Texas, Robinson was no stranger to  upsets. In his freshman year alone, his No. 9 ranked Longhorns fell to unranked Texas Christian 33-31. However, later in that same season, Texas stormed into No. 6 Oklahoma State, pulling off a 41-34 overtime victory on the road.

Now joining a Falcons team who has finished 7-10 in consecutive years, Robinson has the opportunity to contend right away in an NFC South. And after going to work in offseason - acquiring secondary pieces Jeff Okudah, Jessie Bates III and defensive end Calais Campbell - there is no shortage of confidence in the Atlanta locker room.

Alongside second-year back Tyler Allgeier, who led the NFL's third-best rushing attack a season ago, Robinson could be apart of the league's best unit heading into 2023.

And while Robinson might not have a solid answer now on who the NFL's worst team is, that may change following a big week on the ground.
