2023 NFL Draft: Jaguars DL Coach Brentson Buckner Attends Georgia Tech Pro Day

Jacksonville Jaguars defensive line coach Brentson Buckner has been a busy man this week.
After putting South Carolina defensive lineman Zacch Pickens through a workout at the Gamecocks' pro day a few days ago, Buckner also made a stop at Georgia Tech's pro day on Thursday, which gave him a first-row look at Georgia Tech defensive lineman Keion White.

Keion White is a very Jaguars-type DL https://t.co/eV6XuQWocP
"White, who is widely considered to be a potential first-round pick in next month’s NFL Draft, only participated in the 40-yard dash on Thursday. He recorded very favorable times, ranging from 4.65 to 4.75 according to hand-timing amongst the assembled scouts," Georgia Tech said.
"Should White be selected in the first round of the upcoming NFL Draft, he would become Georgia Tech’s first-round pick since Derrick Morgan and Demaryius Thomas were both first-rounders in 2010."
Standing at 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds with 34-inch arms, White seems to fit the physical traits Jaguars general manager Trent Baalke has prioritized in the past. The former tight end and Old Dominion transfer recorded 11 sacks in his college career, including 7.5 in 2022.
"You want to look like an NFL football team. Size matters, at least for us and how we envision things. Getting off the bus is important. And we're looking for length. I think length over time has proven to be very successful in this league," Baalke told NBC's Pro Football Talk Live at the NFL Scouting Combine.
The Jaguars could be in search of pass-rushers early in the 2023 NFL Draft, too, after losing Arden Key to the Tennessee Titans in free agency. While White is an older prospect at 24-years-old, it would make a lot of sense for him to find himself on the Jaguars' radar as April approaches.
