The 2024 NFL Combine is just over 10 days away and teams like the New York Jets have a golden opportunity to see some of the top prospects in one of the bigger scouting events of the year.

New York does have plenty of positions they'll need to address, but there will also be plenty of players available for the team to scout to potentially improve the overall roster.

Here are five names that the organization should be keeping an eye on once the combine does kick off.

QB - Michael Pratt, Tulane

When talking to several draft analysts, the quarterback class is very hard to judge. No one knows exactly where the likes of Michael Penix Jr., Bo Nix, or Jordan Travis will go for example.

Pratt, a strong quarterback out of Tulane, is part of that group. A strong combine could see the Group of Five quarterback shoot up draft boards, while a mediocre one keeps him in the middle rounds

Regardless, he's the kind of prospect that should excite a team like the Jets.

WR - Jalen Coker, Holy Cross

Coker is a player who has good size and was productive at Holy Cross. With how deep the receiving class is, though, it's likely that a player of his background could go in the later rounds or even undrafted. New York has a history of taking flyers on these types of players in the undrafted pool. A good combine from him will certainly help his stock.

OT - Blake Fisher, Notre Dame

Joe Alt is the nation's top tackle prospect, but his counterpart on the Fighting Irish offensive line could help his chances of being a Day Two pick with a strong combine. Fisher has all the makings of a quality right tackle but may need some years of seasoning.

Just how much time he'll need could be determined by his performance in Indy.

OG - Christian Haynes, Connecticut

One of my favorite prospects in this draft, Haynes was fantastic in the Senior Bowl and may not participate in all drills this session. However, if he does, I think there's a good chance that the UCONN product could get himself into the second round and not just the third round where the Jets could target him.

DT - T'Vondre Sweat, Texas

The Jets need some developmental defensive tackles that they can rely on against the run. Sweat, as a former nose tackle, could fit nicely with what New York wants as a player opposite All-Pro Quinnen Williams. His work in the College Football Playoff was strong, and a good combine could see him set up nicely in the first few rounds.
