Final Jets-Bills Injury Report: Garrett Wilson One of Four Players Listed as Questionable

Jets' WR1 limited by elbow injury while Bills' QB1 pops up with lingering shoulder issue

The New York Jets and the Buffalo Bills each have two notable names listed as questionable to play in the crucial Week 11 meeting.

Jets' top wide receiver Garrett Wilson is the biggest name of the bunch. An elbow injury has limited the 2022 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year in practice this week, but Wilson publicly vowed to tough it out and play through any discomfort.

"It's doing better now. I'm feeling good. We gonna rock this weekend," said Wilson following Friday's practice in Florham Park. "Yeah [the injury will have an impact], but we'll get it done."

The Jets' WR1 temporarily left last Sunday night's game to have his right arm examined on the sideline. Wilson, who finished with 93 receiving yards on nine catches, reentered the 16-12 road loss to the Raiders wearing a white sleeve over his right arm.

Rookie defensive end Will McDonald, who sat out the Week 10 game in Las Vegas due to an ankle injury, was also limited throughout practice this week and is questionable to face the Bills. McDonald, the No. 15 overall draft pick, has played seven games thus far this year. The first-round rookie was in on his first career sack against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 9.

Three Jets, none of whom practiced this week, will not be available on Sunday at Buffalo.

Offensive tackle Billy Turner remains sidelined after undergoing finger surgery while backup linebacker Chazz Surratt will miss a third straight game due to an ankle injury. Special teamer Sam Eguavoen, who sustained a hip injury in Week 10 against the Raiders, was also ruled out ahead of Sunday's road test.

"Billy Turner, he's gonna be out. Chazz Surratt, he's gonna be out. Sam Eguavoen's dealing with a hip. He's gonna be out," said Saleh on Friday.

For the Bills, defensive tackle Jordan Phillips and receiver Trent Sherfield are the only players with a game status listing on the final injury report. They are both questionable to play after progressively improving each day this week. Phillips and Sherfield were limited practice participants on Thursday after missing Wednesday's session. On Friday, both men were upgraded to full participants.

Bills' starting quarterback Josh Allen landed on the injury report for the first time this week Friday with a right shoulder issue. Allen, who has been nursing a shoulder sprain for the past month, was a full participant in practice and carries no injury designation heading into Sunday.

The Jets and the Bills will kick off at 4:25 pm ET on November 19 at Highmark Stadium.
