Official List of 2024 Detroit Lions Draft Picks
The Detroit Lions currently possess seven selections in the upcoming NFL Draft.
After compensatory picks were handed out, a couple of Detroit's selections were changed.
As expected, Detroit was not awarded any additional compensatory draft picks.
Detroit has multiple picks in the third round, as a result of the T.J. Hockenson trade to Minnesota last season.
Brad Holmes has a history of maneuvering around during drafts, so the team currently not having a pick in the fourth round could just be temporary.
An interesting debate that has emerged involves Detroit's pick at No. 29.
With the draft being held in Detroit this year, many are wondering whether Holmes and the front office would be willing to trade down, knowing Lions supporters would have waited potentially in excess of 12 hours for the selection.
Some are even clamoring for the Lions to trade up, especially if it means adding cornerback Quinyon Mitchell, one of the top-rated prospects in the entire draft class.
