GREEN BAY, Wis. – If you’re Aaron Rodgers, hold off on scheduling that U-Haul for New Jersey and buying that welcome gift for Nathaniel Hackett. Instead, it’s perhaps time to go house-hunting with Davante Adams.

At SportsBetting.ag, an offshore sportsbook, the Las Vegas Raiders have supplanted the New York Jets as the betting favorite to be Rodgers’ potential next team.

For the first time, the sportsbook is offering pure next-team odds for Rodgers, with the bet valid only if Rodgers doesn’t return to Green Bay. The top three choices (with the rest in the accompanying video):

- Las Vegas Raiders, -150.

- New York Jets, +250.

- San Francisco 49ers, +500.

Aaron Rodgers Favored To Be Raiders’ New Quarterback

The odds also are listed by team. A few days ago, here were the updated odds for the Raiders:

- Jarrett Stidham, who replaced Derek Carr as the Raiders’ starter at the end of the season: +150.

- Rodgers, who won MVPs in 2020 and 2021 with Adams winning All-Pro honors: +200.

- Jimmy Garoppolo, the former 49ers starter who is set to be a free agent: +400.

In new odds posted on Sunday morning, Rodgers became the betting favorite.

- Rodgers, -150. By implied probability, that is 60.0 percent.

- Stidham, +150.

- Garoppolo, +500.

- Alabama star Bryce Young, +1400.

- Rams free agent Baker Mayfield, Ravens free agent Lamar Jackson, Florida’s Anthony Richardson and Kentucky’s Will Levis, +2000.

Without Adams, Rodgers had one of the worst seasons of his career and the Packers crashed from 13-4 to 8-9.

“I feel like obviously losing Davante was a big deal,” Rodgers said after the season-ending loss to Detroit. “We didn’t fill that void. Nobody can. He’s super-human. He’s phenomenal. There was hope in certain things that were going to fill that void. Ultimately, that just didn’t happen.”

The Packers will play at Las Vegas in 2023.

Derek Carr Favored To Be Jets’ New Quarterback

Meanwhile, Carr supplanted Rodgers as the favorite to be the Jets’ Week 1 starter.

A few days here ago, here were the updated odds for the Jets.

- Rodgers, +150.

- Jackson, +400.

- Carr, +450.

- Garoppolo, +450.

- Mike White, who went 1-3 as the Jets’ starter, +600.

- Zach Wilson, who went 5-4 as the Jets’ starter, +850.

Here is the Sunday update.

Carr, +150.

Rodgers, +250.

Jackson, +400.

Garoppolo, +450.

White, +600.

Wilson, +850.

With the negotiating period set to begin on March 13 and free agency officially starting on March 15, here’s how those depth charts look with the free agents crossed off the lists.
Note: “IR” notes players who ended the season on injured reserve. “PS” notes players who finished the season on the practice squad and have been given a futures contract. “F” notes players not with the team at the end of the season but were given a futures contract. Restricted free agents (three years of experience) and exclusive rights free agents (two or fewer years) are not crossed out because the Packers possesses contractual control over those players.)
