Kickoff this afternoon at FedEx Field in Landover Maryland, the Week 5 game between the New England Patriots and the Washington Redskins should be an exciting match-up. The Patriots are coming into the game at the top of the AFC East (4-0), the Redskins at a grim 0-4.

So far this season, New England's defense has been strong during their first four games, momentum that will hopefully continue today. AFC Defensive Player of the Month Devin McCourty is leading the defensive line, having had an interception each game thus far this season.

A better performance from the Patriots' offensive line today would be a welcome change after last week. Marshall Newhouse is back in full health, and with some luck, rhythm will return. Wide Receiver Julian Edelman will be on the field today despite still dealing with his chest/rib injury.

Washington will start veteran quarterback Colt McCoy, who has a fair amount of pressure on his shoulders this week. With talk of rookie Dwayne Haskins gunning for another shot to play, McCoy's game will need to step up considerably today against the Patriots.
