The New England Patriots have not been quiet about their desire to add more talent to their receiving room. It's the same reason why they signed Antonio Brown early in the season despite a bevy of reasons not to do so.

With the NFL trade deadline at the end of this month, trade chatter has started to boil a bit, which is leading to more and more reports about some movement potentially taking place in the league.

On Sunday, CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reported that the Cincinnati Bengals have a couple of pieces that they may be willing to move before the deadline, and one player specifically may have interest from the Patriots.

"League sources said the Saints and Patriots are among the teams most deeply looking for pass catching help, and both would have interest in oft-injured tight end Tyler Eifert as well, who is making just $1 million this season," La Canfora wrote.

The key to New England acquiring him is what they will be willing to give up. When healthy, Eifert can be one of the most dangerous tight ends in the league. The problem is, he gets injured a lot, which has forced him a total of 65 games in his six-year career. So the bargaining chip has to be enough to convince Cincinnati to trade him away, but not too much in the event that Eifert continues to get hurt in the future.
