WATCH: Mac Jones Leads TD Drive, New England Patriots Upset Buffalo Bills 29-25

The New England Patriots came to play in Week 7, as a game-winning drive led by Mac Jones gave them a 29-22 victory over the Buffalo Bills.

FOXBORO —The New England Patriots and quarterback Mac Jones had 1:58, with two timeouts, and a chance for the third-year starter to earn his first comeback win in more than two years. The much-maligned 25-year-old delivered in a major way.

Facing a 25-22 deficit, Jones led the Patriots on a eight-play, 75-yard drive to give the Patriots a desperately-needed, 29-25 victory over the Buffalo Bills Sunday at Gillette Stadium.

The winning drive began with a 34-yard catch-and-run by running back Rhamondre Stevenson. The possession was kept alive on a smart call on 3rd-and-8 when Jones found tight end Hunter Henry for a 14-yard gain. With less than 20 seconds remaining, rookie Demario Douglas hauled in a six-yard pass to put New England on the goal line. Jones capped the drive with a 1-yard touchdown pass to Mike Gesicki.

The Pats entered this matchup hoping to rebound from their 21-17 defeat at the hands of the Las Vegas Raiders. Conversely, the Bills are fresh off a 14-9 victory over the New York Giants last Sunday night.

Despite being riddled with injuries for much of the season, New England has welcomed cornerback Jack Jones (hamstring), left guard Cole Strange (knee) and Demario Douglas (concussion) back to the lineup for Week 7.

Unfortunately, injuries kept receivers Kayshon Boutte (hamstring) and JuJu Smith-Schuster (concussion), linebacker Josh Uche (foot and defensive end/linebacker Keion White (concussion) from suiting up for the Pats first matchup of the season against their division rival.

Lastly, quarterback Malik Cunningham was declared a healthy inactive, leaving reserve Bailey Zappe as the team’s primary backup, with Will Grier serving as the emergency third quarterback.
