New England Patriots linebacker Josh Uche joined a delegation from the NFL Players Association on a visit to Frankfurt in preparation for regular-season games scheduled in Germany.

Deutsche Bank Park in Germany will host two games this season: the first matchup will feature the Miami Dolphins against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9, followed by the Patriots facing the Indianapolis Colts in Week 10.

Uche was part of a group of four players that toured Deutsche Bank Park, which included Colts linebacker Marcel Dabo, Chiefs running back Clyde Edwards-Helaire, Buffalo Bills receiver Gabriel Davis, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Jamel Dean.

Uche was in awe of the stadium and expressed his excitement for when the Patriots get a chance to play at Deutsche Bank Park.

"The stadium is just amazing," Uche said. "It's like a coliseum-type of vibe. Some people call us modern-day gladiators, so it's going to be a great game, man. Looking forward to it. Looking forward to the culture, the different fans, a loud environment."

It remains uncertain whether veteran quarterback Gardner Minshew or Anthony Richardson, the fourth overall pick of the 2023 draft, will start for the Colts. However, it appears that the environment will be conducive to fostering a great atmosphere, regardless of who is under center for the Colts.

Given the NFL's commitment to expanding the popularity of football in Germany and its ongoing efforts to play games outside of the United States, it is highly probable that the Colts vs. Patriots matchup won't be the last time the league visits Germany. Therefore, seeing the Patriots participate in future international games wouldn't be surprising.
