WATCH: Patriots Release Schedule With 'Retirement House' Video
While teams like the Los Angeles Chargers released their schedules Thursday night with new, cutting-edge videos featuring opponents as anime characters, the New England Patriots went old-school.
As in, 'Retirement House' old-school.
The Patriots' social media team used recently retired safety Devin McCourty as its star, having him enter a house inhabited by former players such as Andre Tippett, James White and Ernie Adams.
Says McCourty of the New England's Week 1 opponent - the Philadelphia Eagles - "Not a fan of that team."
The clever theme of the video is ironic because, while stars in the 'Retirement House' go through the the team's 2023 schedule, the Pats are bringing 45-year-old Tom Brady - sort of - out of moth balls to kick off the season Sept. 10.
