Taylor Swift Arrives for Chiefs vs. Patriots
Yes, you are a football purist when it comes to your New England Patriots, and normally you do not invite or tolerate any game-day disractions.
But this is not a normal Patriots year. This is not a "pure'' Patriots season. So ... bring on the bells and whistles!

Bill Belichick and the struggling Patriots host Taylor Swift ... and the Chiefs.
As coach Bill Belichick - his own career in Boston maybe winding down, yet another notable sidebar - gets his guys set to take on the Kansas City Chiefs at Gillette Stadium on Sunday afternoon, the pop superstar Taylor Swift will apparently be in attendance.
It is being reported that Swift's private jet took off from New Jersey on Sunday morning and has since landed in the New England area, just ahead of kickoff in Foxboro.
So, we should see Ms. Swift in the stands - well, make that in a luxury suite - at Sunday afternoon's Chiefs at Patriots game, with kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. ET.
The Patriots are woeful at 3-10. The Chiefs are experiencing some of their own struggles, coming off back-to-back losses to the Packers and the Bills that featured more whining from QB Patrick Mahomes and coach Andy Reid than they did production.
The game will be on FOX, and if you're not pleased about Swift, or you're uncaring about Swift, rest assured: The TV network is very, very glad to see she's in town.
