Tom Brady passes George Blanda for most TD passes by QB past their 42nd birthday

Add another milestone to Brady's illustrious career.

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Julian Edelman early in the 2nd quarter of their Week 3 game against the New York Jets. 

The significance of the TD pass was it put Brady in 1st place all-time for most touchdown passes thrown by a quarterback past their 42nd birthday. Brady now has seven touchdowns after his 42nd birthday, which was in August. The former leader of that category was George Blanda (1970) who had six touchdowns after his 42nd birthday.
