The Las Vegas Raiders recently finalized their coaching staff for the 2024 season.

Raiders Coach Antonio Pierce had a vision for the staff he wanted ahead of his first season as a full-time head coach, and it's safe to say he's content with the final product.

"It was a long process," Pierce said at the NFL Combine last Wednesday. "Interviewed 11 offensive coordinators, five O-line coaches, six quarterback coaches. Like, there were a lot of guys, man.

"It was a very thorough process. We had all the coaches in there as well. They were involved in the process because I wanted to make sure, not just for me, but it fit all of us.

"I feel like we got a group of men who are well-rounded, have a lot of ideas. Some guys have done it at the highest level as far as being a head coach for multiple years. Some guys (are) just getting to the game.

"I think I got a mix of both former players, as you see. I think we've got seven we got on the staff, but then also, you've got some coaches that, when you look at them and you [say]: 'Damn, how does that match with what Luke [Getsy] is doing or what Patrick [Graham is doing]?'

"Well, it might not match, but it's an idea, it's something that we :were either studying, that we had talked about before, and I said: 'You know what, let's pull from that system and let's see.' At the end of the day, we're going to still structure everything the way that myself, Patrick, and Luke, and [Tom] McMahon sees it, but it's OK to have different ideas and think outside the box."

The NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Mich., on April 25-27, 2024. The Las Vegas Raiders currently hold the No. 13 overall pick.
