Maxx Crosby Wants to Bond With Las Vegas Raiders Teammates

Las Vegas Raiders star edge rusher Maxx Crosby is looking to bond with his teammates this offseason.

Nothing is better for a team than when it has good chemistry.

Teams can be as talented as they want to be, but if they don’t get along and don’t know how to play together, they will struggle. A real bond among teammates is what makes a team great.

That is what Las Vegas Raiders star Maxx Crosby wants out of his teammates. He wants to create a family-like environment with the players on his squad so they can get over the hump and return to the playoffs in 2024.

On the latest episode of his podcast, "The Rush with Maxx Crosby," Crosby spoke about his plans to bond with his teammates.

“I just bought a new place in Summerland,” he said. “We’re building a whole facility basically at the house. So, we do OTAs Monday through Thursday, and Fridays are technically ‘off,’ but Fridays are going to be at the crib. We have the field, we have the basketball court, pool, the whole deal, and just have the guys over and work, bond, spend time together, and get closer, especially before we get to camp, especially new guys too.”

Crosby elaborated on getting new players together with the old players and creating a bond with them.

“We have a lot of familiar faces coming back, but guys like Christian [Wilkins], even offensive guys, even [Gardner] Minshew and all those dudes," he said, "I want all of us to spend time together. At the end of the day, we’re all reliant on each other to win. So, I definitely plan on having the guys on Fridays at the crib.”

Crosby has a reputation for being a good teammate and wants to create a wholly friendly environment with his teammates. Of course, he wants his team to work as hard as it plays as well.

The Raiders have a few new players, so Crosby has taken it upon himself to integrate them into the team’s brotherhood. As the heart and soul of the team, Crosby feels he has an obligation to look after the well-being of all his teammates.

If Crosby can get all of his teammates to bond and they can build their chemistry, the Raiders have a chance to do something special in 2024.
