Todd Gurley is ruled out for the Rams vs 49ers game with injury

Gurley is inactive for the 49ers game due to a thigh contusion he suffered in the week five Seahawks matchup.

Malcolm Brown will be the Rams starting running back, and it is expected the rookie Darrell Henderson will also see playing time.

Henderson has only played two snaps this season, in the week one game over the Carolina Panthers. Brown has rushed for 114 yards and has two touchdowns on 26 carries.

The Rams promoted John Kelly from the practice squad to the active roster, adding depth to the running back position.

Gurley's absence adds to the list of several inactive key players for the 49ers game.
