The Cincinnati Bengals were finally mounting some offensive momentum en route to a potential kill-shot touchdown.

Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow dropped back and looked for wide receiver Tyler Boyd, but Los Angeles Rams cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon had other plans. He undercut Boyd's route and made an insane one-handed grab, wrestling the ball away from the Bengals pass-catcher for Los Angeles' first takeaway of the season.

Burrow's throw was slightly behind Boyd, allowing Witherspoon to be in position to make the play. He hooked his right arm against Boyd's body, and the momentum of falling to the ground helped him come up with the one-on-one fight for the ball at the point of the catch.

The interception was the ninth in Witherspoon's seven-year NFL career.

Los Angeles has kept Burrow relatively in check Monday night, as he is completing just over 50 percent of his passes for just over 250 passing yards. He has not thrown a touchdown and the pick was his second of the season.

It was odd seeing the Rams come away with an interception after the Bengals picked off two of Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford's passes.

In the first half, Stafford was flushed out of the pocket to his left on the rush by Cincinnati defensive end Trey Hendrickson. He slung a side-armed pass across his body while looking for wide receiver Van Jefferson, but Bengals linebacker Logan Wilson dove in front at the last second.

In the second half, Stafford's pass attempt to wide receiver Puka Nacua was tipped at the line of scrimmage and Wilson corralled his second pick of the night.
