Rams vs. Raiders Preseason: How to Watch, Betting Odds
The Los Angeles Rams continue their preseason schedule on Saturday by hosting the Las Vegas Raiders at SoFi Stadium. The two teams have finished their two joint practices in the week leading up to the game, and there are some storylines to follow on Saturday.
Last week, Stetson Bennett IV had maybe the best outing of any of the rookie quarterbacks in his class. He looked focused during his entire outing, even drawing attention from Pat McAfee in the process. Bennett threw for 191 yards and two touchdowns on 17-of-29 passing.
It appears that the backup quarterback job might be Bennett's to lose as the other signal caller, Brett Rypien, struggled much of his outing. Rypien went just 3-of-6 for 11 yards.
Also turning heads in the first exhibition game was rookie fifth-round pick, Puka Nacua. Nacua finally got to demonstrate his abilities on a big stage after impressing in the offseason and caught three balls for 32 yards including an 11-yard touchdown pass from Bennett. Nacua sat for the entire second half, but look for more Bennett-to-Nacua connections against the Raiders.
