Rams Free Agent Jordan Fuller to Meet With Panthers

The Carolina Panthers are set to meet with Los Angeles Rams free safety Jordan Fuller.

Los Angeles Rams safety Jordan Fuller has set a meeting with a potential suitor, according to reports from NFL insider Tom Pelissero.

His destination? The Carolina Panthers. This visit to Charlotte marks his sole confirmed meeting thus far, after officially hitting the free agent market on Wednesday.

Ranked at No. 59 among top free agents by Pro Football Talk, Fuller has been a reliable figure in their lineup, playing in 48 regular-season games, and starting 46 over the last four seasons.

However, his 2022 season saw a setback with a hamstring injury, limiting him to just three games.

Thankfully, Fuller bounced back last season, starting in every game and making significant contributions with 94 tackles, three interceptions, and three forced fumbles.

The Panthers, having parted ways with Vonn Bell and, in addition to a Jeremy Chinn move to Washington, have a notable gap in their defensive secondary - one that Fuller could fill adeptly.

Following the initial flurry of signings, several of the Rams' free agents, including Fuller, remain available. His potential move to the Panthers would not only address their defensive needs but also reunite him with Panthers defensive coordinator Ejiro Evero, under whom Fuller previously played with the Rams.

This existing connection could smooth his transition into the Panthers' defensive scheme.

Last season might have been Fuller's best, with the veteran finishing the year with three interceptions, along with 94 tackles and a career-high eight passes defensed across 17 games.
