Another Top Rams Assistant and Sean McVay Protégé Being Targeted by Patriots

Los Angeles Rams assistant coach Zac Robinson is reportedly set to interview for the offensive coordinator position with the New England Patriots.

Could the Sean McVay coaching tree continue to grow? It's certainly possible as Los Angeles Rams pass game coordinator Zac Robinson is reportedly set to interview for the New England Patriots' offensive coordinator position.

Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reported the news on Sunday, and you can view his post here. It has also been reported that Rams assistant coach Nick Caley will be interviewing for the same position.

Zac Robinson

Robinson suited up for the Patriots practice squad in the 2010 season, and he also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, Detroit Lions and Cincinnati Bengals during the course of his playing career.

Since breaking into coaching in 2019, Robinson has remained on staff with the Rams, working as the assistant quarterbacks coach and assistant wide receivers coach before transitioning to his current role.

The search for an offensive coordinator in New England comes on the heels of head coach Bill Belichick's departure and the subsequent hire of Jerod Mayo to that role.
