Rams Have 'Interest' in Signing Odell, McVay Confirms

The Los Angeles Rams are interested in a reunion with receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to coach Sean McVay.

After a strong run to close the 2021 Super Bowl-winning season, the Los Angeles Rams would like to reunite with former Pro Bowl receiver Odell Beckham Jr.

Speaking at the owner's meeting in Phoenix, Arizona, Rams coach Sean McVay confirmed his team has "interest" in signing Beckham Jr.

McVay added that he "loves" Beckham Jr. but is aware that there's plenty of competition for the wideout's talents - including from the New York Giants, where coach Brian Daboll said he enjoyed the 2014 first-round pick's visit.

Beckham Jr., 30, didn't play in 2022 while recovering from a torn ACL suffered during the Rams' Super Bowl victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

Across eight regular season games (seven starts) for the Rams down the stretch in 2021, the 5-11, 198-pound Beckham Jr. caught 27 passes for 305 yards and five touchdowns.

"OBJ" starred during Los Angeles' playoff run, logging 21 receptions for 288 yards and two scores in three and a half games before suffering the aforementioned injury against Cincinnati.

While he hasn't played since the Super Bowl, Beckham Jr.'s remained active with teams and held a workout in early March - of which the Rams attended.

Beyond both the workout visit and McVay's confirmation, Rams general manager Les Snead said he's "definitely" keeping a reunion with Beckham Jr. in mind.

Will it ultimately happen?

That part remains to be seen ... but Los Angeles is now officially involved in the Beckham Jr. pursuit.
