Could Rams Star Puka Nacua Make First-Team All-Pro Next Season?

Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua had one of the best rookie seasons ever, so how will he follow it up?

Los Angeles Rams receiver Puka Nacua had one of the best rookie seasons in league history last season, and it was expected by practically nobody, as he was selected with the very last pick of the fifth round of the 2023 NFL Draft.

In fact, his elite season earned him a spot on the AP All-Pro Second Team alongside A.J. Brown, Brandon Aiyuk, and Mike Evans. So how do you follow up a season of that caliber? You earn a First-Team All-Pro nod.

Nacua finished the season with 1486 receiving yards, ranking him fourth in the entire league. He also ranked in the top ten in total receptions, as he was Matthew Stafford's favorite target.

But the thing that the 22-year-old receiver was perhaps the best at this past season was making plays in the open field, as he finished with 640 yards after the catch. This is just 12 less than a receiver who made the All-Pro First Team, Tyreek Hill.

The one area where Nacua could improve is his touchdown numbers, as he only finished with six as a result of the ball being very well spread around.

If he is able to do this while maintaining the consistency that he had last year, then he could be well on his way to making the All-Pro First Team and being one of the best receivers in the league year in and year out.
