Rams cornerback Aqib Talib out with a rib injury will not be playing in the Week 6 matchup against the 49ers.

Talib's absence will benefit the 49ers passing game. 

Without Talib playing weeks 4-12 in 2018 the Rams defense struggled, allowing 31, 31, 20, 10, 27, 45, 31 and 51 points in those eight games.
