Los Angeles Rams coach Sean McVay has only been a head coach in the NFL for two seasons, but in that time, he has taken the league by storm and already formed an impressive coaching tree.

Now, he is having his success realized in the form of rocketing to the upper tier of coaching power rankings, where he has been ranked as the No. 6 head coach in the NFL.

So far as a head coach, McVay has led the Rams to a 24-8 record (.750 win percentage) and a Super Bowl appearance. Unfortunately, the coach who he faced off against in the big game happens to rank as the No. 1 best coach in the league — Bill Belichick and the New England Patriots.

Still, though, being ranked well within the top-10 this early in his career is a feat to be proud of. The Los Angeles (or then St. Louis) Rams were a bottom feeding team with a potential bust running the offense in Jared Goff. McVay traveled west from Washington D.C. and revitalized football in LA, turning the league on its head and transforming the way that NFL teams think about offense.

If McVay can crack such coaching ranks after just two seasons, it will be impressive to see what other hardware he can rack up as his career powers ahead.
