Baltimore Ravens Free Agent WR Target Josh Reynolds to Sign with Denver Broncos

The Baltimore Ravens are set to lose Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason, and after the price tag to sign him last year, that isn't a bad thing.

The Baltimore Ravens are set to lose Odell Beckham Jr. this offseason, and after the price tag to sign him last year, that isn't a bad thing. OBJ caught just 35 passes for 565 yards and three touchdowns over 14 games in 2023, and Baltimore paid him $16 million.

This time around, general manager Eric DeCosta could look for a cheaper option in free agency. Baltimore has already re-signed Nelson Agholor to a one-year, $3.75 million deal after his 35 catches, 381 yards and four touchdowns for the team last year - on a one-year, $3.25 million deal.

Former Detroit Lions receiver Josh Reynolds could have been one of those cheaper options, as Spotract projects Reynolds signing a two-year, $14 million deal in free agency. And that's exactly what he got as he's reportedly agreed to that precise number with the Denver Broncos.

The Texas A&M Aggies product caught 40 balls for 608 yards and four touchdowns last year in a career season in Detroit - where Reynolds had spent the last two-plus seasons.

Reynolds entered the NFL as a fourth-round pick (No. 117 overall) of the Los Angeles Rams in the 2017 NFL Draft and spent his first four seasons there.

He signed with the Tennessee Titans as a free agent in 2021 before being released in November of that same year. He was claimed off waivers by the Lions two days later, then signed a two-year, $6 million extension with Detroit in March 2022.

In eight seasons, Reynolds has caught 220 balls on 373 targets for 2,933 yards and 19 touchdowns. The Ravens will now have to look elsewhere to find their complement to Zay Flowers.
