The XFL 2023 was the third incarnation of the 2001 brand kicked off by NBC and WWF's Vince McMahon. That version of the league lasted just one season before it was rebooted in 2020, once again with backing from Vince McMahon.

The XFL 2020 was doomed by the Coronavirus pandemic after just five weeks and a bankruptcy filing. Fortunately for football fans, a group spearheaded by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and his ex-wife and business partner, Dany Garcia, saved the league with hopes of a 2023 return.

That return was successful with the Arlington Renegades winning the XFL Championship after just a 4-6 regular season but a clean sweep in the playoffs.

The USFL was a reincarnation of the league that existed from 1983-1985, and kicked off it's newest campaing in 2022, playing two seasons through 2023. The Birmingham Stallions won both USFL Championships.

The UFL was created following the merger of the XFL and USFL and includes some teams from both previous leagues.

The USFL Conference consists of the Stallions, Houston Roughnecks, Memphis Showboats and Michigan Panthers. The XFL Confernece is comprised of the Renegades, DC Defenders, San Antonio Brahmas and St. Louis Battlehawks.
