Following their 33-19 blowout win over the San Francisco 49ers, the Baltimore Ravens are just a victory away from clinching the AFC's top seed and their first AFC North Title since 2019.

The main clinching scenario is simple for a team like the Ravens next Sunday. A win against the high-flying Miami Dolphins on New Year's Eve will be enough.

It's not the only scenario that would have Baltimore celebrating though in Week 17.

A loss by the Cleveland Browns to the New York Jets on Thursday, or in the final week of the season to the Cincinnati Bengals would be enough for the Ravens to secure the north division.

After the Ravens play the Dolphins, the team will play the Pittsburgh Steelers in the season finale. Pittsburgh will be fighting for their playoff lives so it makes sense for Baltimore to do whatever it can to clinch all playoff scenarios beforehand.

Despite the added conversations that come from potentially becoming the top seed come playoff time, the Ravens are focused on the main objective of winning on Sunday.

"We play a brand of football people don’t want to play," linebacker Patrick Queen said following Baltimore's win over San Francisco. "Everyone wants to be cute out here playing basketball on grass sand stuff and we aren't about that stuff."

The Ravens and Dolphins kick off from M&T Bank Stadium at 1:00 pm on New Year's Eve.
