REPORT: Broncos Will Trade WR Jerry Jeudy to Ravens Rival Browns for Multiple Draft Picks
The Denver Broncos are reportedly working on a deal to send former first-round pick Jerry Jeudy to the AFC North.
The Broncos and Cleveland Browns have reportedly agreed on a deal that will send Jeudy to Cleveland in exchange for fifth- and sixth-round picks per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Jeudy was a first-round draft pick from Alabama in 2020 and has dealt with injuries during his time in Denver. At just 24, the Browns are could still resurrect his career with a change of scenery.
With the Ravens looking to add depth to their wideout room, the trade is a curious one. We wonder if Baltimore had a chance to add Jeudy but declined. The price tag is a good fit for the Ravens if general manager Eric DeCosta was at all interested.
Jeudy has one year left on his current contract for almost $13 million. Last offseason, the Broncos exercised the fifth-year option on Jeudy's deal.
The former Crimson Tide pass catcher's original deal with Denver was four years, $15.19 million, after being selected by the Broncos with the No. 15 overall pick.
