Should The Baltimore Ravens Prioritize Offensive Line In 2024 NFL Draft?

The Baltimore Ravens have a plethora of needs to fill on the roster after losing significant pieces this offseason.

The Baltimore Ravens lost a ton of players this offseason. Some to free agency and some to trade.

Bleacher Report even listed the Ravens among teams that have had one of the worst offseasons thus far.

"Championship-caliber teams can find it tough to keep rosters together, and Baltimore had a lot of free agents this offseason," Bleacher Report writes. "It was still strange to see the Ravens part with so many pieces of a roster that came within a game of the Super Bowl when they weren't cap-strapped and still have $12.3 million remaining."

The Ravens need help along the interior of their offensive line. Following the free-agent departures of both John Simpson and Kevin Zeitler, there is a massive hole the Flock needs to figure out. Morgan Moses was also traded to the Jets, making the room even thinner at tackle.

One of the problems of having a sub-par offensive line is the lack of protection it gives your quarterback. And for the Ravens, that's important because of the $260 million they've invested in Lamar Jackson.

Jackson is a elite and unique talent, but he needs time. Even on is called quarterback run plays, he needs time. And that's something he had last season. After the departures and lack of replacements, it needs to be a priority this offeseason. Whether it's through the draft or free agency or a combination of the two, offensive line should be a priority.
