'I'm So Confused...': Ravens Free Agent WR Target Odell Beckham Jr. Denies He Wants $20M/Yr

The Baltimore Ravens have somewhat secured Lamar Jackson's future after they slapped the non-exclusive franchise tag on their quarterback.

With that sorted, another issue can now be addressed, weapons for Jackson. One of those targets is free agent wideout Odell Beckham Jr.

Recently, Baltimore was one team present for Odell Beckham Jr.'s private workout for NFL teams in Arizona. While this doesn't mean the Ravens are IN on the receiver, it certainly shows a level of interest.

Price will mean everything for whoever signs Beckham Jr., and it was recently reported he was asking for $20 million per year

And now, he's trying to set the record straight:

"I'm just so confused where the quote is from me that said I want 20," Beckham Tweeted. "All I'm saying is 4 AIN'T enough."

Given that he is a free agent, no draft capital will be needed to secure a deal. Some reports claimed Odell could be available for as little as $13 million APY.

Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reaffirmed the reports last week, saying the wideout "still has that number in mind ($20M)."

The need for another weapon is likely high on the Ravens' wish list, and looking at the offensive output from last year, it was mostly Andrews or bust.

So, the Ravens attended Beckham Jr.'s workout and seemingly have a fleeting interest in the receiver. Still, if that were to morph into substantial interest, then Baltimore would have something to work with offensively (assuming Lamar sticks around).

There appear to be plenty of teams interested, but somehow a signing anytime soon doesn't feel close.

But Beckham Jr. appears to at least be throwing bones to anyone who will listen. This week, he told Giants' running back Saquon Barkley via Twitter to contact general manager Joe Schoen, declaring that he had "more s--- left to do" in New York.
