After a tremendously successful regular season, Ravens coach John Harbaugh is having to replace multiple positions on his staff.

On Monday, 247Sports reported that former Michigan defensive analyst Doug Mallory will join the Harbaugh in Baltimore as defensive backs coach. Mallory worked for three seasons with Harbaugh's brother Jim at Michigan, where the two just won a national championship.

Mallory has previous NFL experience, spending six seasons with the Falcons as a defensive assistant from 2015 to 1016, defensive backs coach from 2017-2019, and senior defensive assistant and defensive backs coach in 2020. He left the next season for Ann Arbor.

He was with Atlanta when for the historic Super Bowl loss to the Patriots, where New England erased a 28-3 third quarter deficit to complete the comeback win.

Mallory won a national championship with LSU in 2007 in addition to his 2023 title last college football season.

The former Michigan Wolverine played in Ann Arbor for legendary coach Bo Schembechler from 1984 through 1987 and went undrafted. He immediately joined the staff at Indiana as a graduate assistant to begin his coaching career.
