Baltimore Ravens 'Very Pleased' With 'Big Win' Over Jacksonville Jaguars

The Baltimore Ravens secured another tough win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, and head coach John Harbaugh was pleased with the result.

At a venue they generally have trouble at, the Baltimore Ravens flipped the script in their 23-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at EverBank Stadium.

The Ravens were 3-8 all-time at EverBank Stadium heading into Sunday night's game but emerged victorious as the Jaguars shot themselves in the foot multiple times, and the Ravens took full advantage.

Baltimore head coach John Harbaugh was pleased with how his team navigated the game and hinted that eyes have already turned to next week against the San Francisco 49ers.

“We're very very pleased with the victory, it was a big win it was a big win an important win in a real tough venue against a really good team,” Harbaugh said. “Our guys played the kind of football they need to play to win that game last night and I'm very proud of them for that, we all are as coaches and fans I'm sure too, so were excited about where we're at. Now we're getting pointed toward the next one [49ers] which is going to be an even better team and in probably a tougher even tougher environment out there on Christmas night.”

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh was left pleased with how his team performed against the Jaguars.

Baltimore's rushing attack was again a key to securing the win as Todd Monken's offense rushed for 251 yards as Lamar Jackson (97), Keaton Mitchell (73), Gus Edwards (58), and Justice Hill (23) all had their moments in the run game.

Unfortunately, Mitchell suffered a long-term knee injury in the win Harbaugh confirmed and reports suggest it is the dreaded ACL injury.

That news certainly dampens the excitement Baltimore had from winning its 11th game of the season and punching its ticket to the postseason. The Ravens now will have to do without Mark Andrews and Mitchell as they look to go on a deep playoff run.

Up next for the Ravens is their biggest game of the season - the San Francisco 49ers in Santa Clara as they look to lay down another maker by taking care of what many call the best team in football.
