Ravens Ready For 'Big Challenge' vs. Los Angeles Rams

The Baltimore Ravens welcome a resurgent Los Angeles Rams to M&T Bank Stadium, and coach John Harbaugh is ready for the challenge.

The Baltimore Ravens have come out of their late bye week fresh and ready to go, with the Los Angeles Rams next on the schedule - however it will be anything but easy.

The Rams have hit form of late, rattling off three straight wins over the Seattle Seahawks, Arizona Cardinals, and the Cleveland Browns as Matthew Stafford, and the offense has scored 30+ points and had over 390 total yards in the last two games.

Once thought to be an also-ran in the playoff chase, the Rams have found their groove, and Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is wary of Sean McVay's team.

“We’re excited about big challenge with the Rams coming in on Sunday afternoon,” Harbaugh said. “We know what an important game it is, and our guys are preparing accordingly.”

The Ravens have had an extra week to prepare to face the likes of Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Puka Nacua as the trio looms as the big weapons that can trouble Mike Macdonald's defense.

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is ready for the challenge against the Rams on Sunday.

With Baltimore winning six out of its last seven games prior to the bye, there could be a sense that the time off came at the wrong time for the Ravens. Momentum was with the team, and they were building up for the last part of the season.

But Harbaugh has no such worries about having a late-season bye.

“No, I think its been good for us,” Harbaugh said. “Our guys are in good spirits, the time off will be good for us. I think physically and mentally as well. But it's part of the National Football League, and we got a big challenge ahead of us Sunday, and that’s what everybody is focusing on.”

The Ravens are in the thick of the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC, and with the San Francisco 49ers and the Miami Dolphins (current No. 1 AFC seed) on the schedule after the Rams, there could be a sense of looking ahead.

But the Ravens need to take care of business on Sunday, as it could have serious playoff and seeding implications.

Don't play with your food, Baltimore.
