Baltimore Ravens Beat Los Angeles Rams In Overtime Thriller For Third Straight Win

The Baltimore Ravens defeated the Los Angeles Rams 37-31 in overtime to complete an instant classic.

It took everything they had and then some, but the Baltimore Ravens were able to extend their winning streak to five games and defeat the Los Angeles Rams 31-28 in a thriller on Sunday afternoon.

The situation looked dire, as despite the Ravens moving the ball well, their only points of the second half came in a pair of Justin Tucker field goals. With Baltimore trailing by five, the game essentially came down to a third and 17 from the Rams' 21, when Lamar Jackson hit Zay Flowers for the go-ahead touchdown with less than two minutes to go.

Even then, the game was still far from over. The Rams marched down the field in the final minute and changed, and Lucas Havrisik nailed the 36-yard field goal to force overtime.

Both teams punted on their first possession of the extra frame, but the Ravens took advantage of it as Tylan Wallace ran the punt back 76 yards for the game-winning score.

Jackson finished the game with 316 yards, three touchdowns and an interception while completing 24 of 43 passes, plus a team-high 70 rushing yards on 11 carries. Odell Beckham Jr. torched his old team for 97 yards and a touchdown on four receptions, while Flowers and Isaiah Likely found the end zone as well.

On the Rams side, Matthew Stafford completed 23 of 41 passes for 294 yards and three touchdowns. Cooper Kupp, Davis Allen and former Raven Demarcus Robinson all caught touchdowns, while Kyren Williams rushed 25 times for 114 yards.

For the moment, the Ravens have sole possession of the AFC's top seed at 10-3. Baltimore's quest for home-field advantage will continue with a primetime road game against the Jacksonville Jaguars next Sunday.
