With two teams vying for playoff positioning, Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and Los Angeles Rams looked to be among the best in the early window, and the first half certainly didn't disappoint.

Heading into the locker room, the Ravens trail 20-17 after a thoroughly entertaining half of football.

After just a field goal on the game's first four possessions, the two teams combined to score touchdowns on each of their next four drives. The Ravens found the end zone both times on long Lamar Jackson passes, the first going 54 yards to Isaiah Likely and the second going 46 yards to Odell Beckham Jr.

Not to be outdone, Matthew Stafford and the Rams put together two long scoring drives of their own. Cooper Kupp caught the first touchdown from Stafford, while Davis Allen, filling in for the injured Tyler Higbee, caught the second for his first career score. L.A.'s defense also came up big late in the half, with Ahkello Witherspoon picking off a deep pass by Jackson to set up a Rams field goal and pad the lead.

Baltimore managed to put together a solid two-minute drive to get that field goal back just before halftime, but it's still L.A. who heads into the break on top.

Jackson finished the first half completing 13 of 21 passes for 206 yards, two touchdowns and the aforementioned interception. He was also the Ravens' leading rusher with 20 yards on three carries. Beckham and Likely both had over 60 yards and a touchdown on just two catches each.

Meanwhile, Stafford completed 11 of 19 passes for 139 yards and two touchdowns. Second-year running back Kyren Williams is maintaining his hot streak with 71 yards on 14 carries and rookie sensation Puka Nacua has three receptions for 55 yards.

The Ravens will be on defense to start the second half as they look for a way to slow the Rams down.
